AccountEdge 2013 adds Document Management and more in US

December 10, 2012 (Rockaway, NJ) – Acclivity today announced AccountEdge Pro 2013 for Mac and Windows. The latest version of their small business accounting software is available immediately and features a long list of enhancements and improvements.

Document Management

The new document management feature lets the user attach files to records, including documents, images, and scans. Bills, invoices, purchases, or any type of file can be attached to transactions, and AccountEdge files it away for later viewing.

Retainers, Escrow, and Trust Accounts

AccountEdge’s retainers feature gets an update, with the ability to link bank accounts, which allows the user to write checks directly from their retainer, escrow, and trust accounts, as well as easily transfer funds into and out of these accounts.

Improved Bank Statement Import

Importing and reconciling bank statements is more streamlined and intuitive with the new Bank Statement Import. The new "worksheet" acts as a middle-man between import and reconciliation to improve the workflow of dealing with bank statements. Plus, rules can be created to look for and match transactions.

AccountEdge Mobile 2

AccountEdge Mobile 2 is coming soon. Users of AccountEdge Pro’s companion mobile app can look forward to accepting credit cards directly from their iOS devices. Also included in the update to AccountEdge Mobile: quick sale, receive payment on a receivable, and mileage tracking.

Change Orders – track what changed on your estimate and keep notes on why a change was made

Print old payroll forms in the New Year – Print W2s and 1099s without having to open a backup

Billing Rate Reports – three new reports for time billers: Bill Rate Level Summary and Detail and Card Detail let you see the details of bill rate levels

Employee Mileage Logs – Update to AccountEdge’s mileage feature lets you choose to track mileage by vehicle or employee

Batch Delete – select multiple cards or items and delete them in a batch with a single mouse click
